
Besides releasing the Redmi K80 Series and Redmi Watch 5 yesterday in China, the Xiaomi subsidiary also launched new earbuds, the Redmi Buds 6 Pro. Featuring some compelling specs and features for the price, read on to learn more about the new audio device.
The Buds 6 Pro offers active noise cancellation (ANC) of up to 55dB of noise, Bluetooth 5.3 and supports various audio codecs. These include LHDC 5.0 and LC3.

The sound is produced by 11mm titanium-coated dynamic drivers paired with 6.7mm piezoelectric ceramic drivers. Battery-wise, Redmi claims up to 36 hours of battery life with the case. There’s also a Gaming Edition, which supports latency of only 20ms, LHDC Lossless audio codec via its specialised USB-C adapter and more striking colours.
In China, the Buds 6 Pro is offered in Jade Green, White or Black colour options and is priced at CNY399 or ~RM245, while the Buds 6 Pro Gaming Edition is offered in black with orange on the inside, priced at CNY499 or ~RM306.
