Earlier this month, Redmi's CEO mentioned that a Redmi gaming phone would be launching soon. Some of the phone's details were teased in previous rumours, such as the chipset. Now, it will also have some gaming features, which was just teased.
According to GSMArena, the currently unnamed Redmi gaming phone is expected to come with shoulder buttons. More phones are starting to adopt the same idea, so it wouldn't be surprising at all. Allegedly, these would be physical buttons but that's the only info teased so far.
Besides that, it was previously rumoured that this device would come with the Dimensity 1200 chipset, as well as a Samsung AMOLED display. There's also a rumour that said there would be a Redmi smartphone with a 'microscope' camera. However, we don't know if it's the gaming phone that will feature this camera.
