Initially thought to be released in this year’s IFA trade show at Berlin, Germany, there has been news flying around reporting that the coveted Samsung Galaxy Note 8 might have other ideas.

Popular leakster @IceUniverse has reported on Weibo that the 6.3-inch display Galaxy Note 8 will be unveiled in August at an event in New York, USA, a whole month earlier than the initial IFA 2017, Berlin around September.

The Galaxy Note 8 is expected to be unveiled with the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 and a design identical with its siblings, the Samsung Galaxy S8 series.  It is also expected to feature a dual-camera setup, 6.3-inch Super AMOLED QHD+ display and 6GB RAM.

Good news aside, these are still rumours and should be taken with a pinch of salt. Regardless of when and where it will be revealed, the Malaysian release is always close by from that date so make sure to stay tuned to TechNave.com when that day comes.
