The latest Galaxy A devices from Samsung have proven to be pretty good devices and one of them is about to get a bit of an upgrade. Made available in February 2020, the Galaxy A51 launched as a mid-range device with flagship features. It originally came with 6GB of RAM but Samsung Malaysia will be bumping that up to 8GB.

Yup, if 6GB is somehow not enough RAM for you, the Galaxy A51 will now come with a variant sporting 8GB of RAM instead. Everything else will remain the same, including the Exynos 9611 chipset, 128GB internal storage, 6.5-inch super AMOLED screen, and 4000mAh battery. All you need to do is top up an additional RM100 and get the variant for RM1399. Not a bad deal, to be honest.

This device will also come with a rear quad-camera setup consisting of a 48MP main camera, 12MP ultrawide lens, 5MP macro lens, and 5MP depth sensor. As for the front camera, there will be a 32MP shooter that delivers some good shots. When it comes to cameras, the macro lens here turned out to be pretty impressive. Honestly, an upgrade from 6GB to 8GB wouldn't make much of a difference. But if you like having the additional RAM, the RM100 increase isn't that big of a deal. Having said that, would you prefer the phone with 6GB or 8GB of RAM? Does it make any difference to you? Let us know on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave.com for more news.
