Samsung Galaxy Note 10 reportedly to have a new SD 855+ and no more Bixby

Is it me or is every smartphone competitor just rushing out to leak their flagship tech specs on purpose? ASUS released the first barrel on Monday with its ROG Phone 2 then followed by HONOR before the official launch on Tuesday, now we have almost the full tech specs of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 provided by Evan Blass from Twitter. Here's what we know so far!

So first, the latest rumour was that the phablet will be powered by a new chipset which isn't surprising, but what's surprising is that the rumour claimed it will be equipped with a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ and the sad thing is that, even if it comes true, the Malaysia market won't even get that model officially. Other changes from Evan also suggest that the battery will start from 3600mAh and before you get alarmed, that's for the standard Note 10, the Note 10+ will have a bigger 4300mAh with 45W charging technology.

As for the previously rumoured tech spec, the Super AMOLED display size will remain as 6.3-inch and 6.8-inch with 60Hz refresh rate respectively. The memory capacity also jumped back to 8GB of RAM instead of 12GB, while the storage remains untouched with 256GB (UFS 3.0). Only the Note10+ has an expandable memory too via microSD card. The new triple rear camera will be present on both phablets with 12MP (wide lens) + 1 MP (ultra-wide lens) + 12MP (telephoto lens), along with a ToF sensor.

Adding on another news source, it's also reported that the Bixby button will be removed from the new Note10 series. If this is true, we think it's about time that Samsung has acknowledged that nobody really uses Bixby. Personally, I have nothing against it but if it can't even open its own Samsung music app by voice command, it's pretty jarring.

Are you looking forward to the new Samsung Galaxy Note 10? It's going to debut soon on 7 August 2019 soon. Stay tuned for our official coverage only at TechNave.com.
