It's finally official. The Samsung Galaxy S4 / S IV is going to be officially launched in Malaysia on 27 April 2013 at 'below' location. Thankfully, Malaysia is one of the countries to get the first roll-out of Samsung Galaxy S4 / S IV smartphones. Samsung Galaxy S4 / S IV price in Malaysia shall be RM2199 (RRP).

The four main Malaysia's Telco - Maxis, DiGi, Celcom and U Mobile are having the Samsung Galaxy S4 pre-registration, pre-order or coming soon teaser. This is meaning that the Samsung Galaxy S4 / S IV will officially launch in Malaysia very soon and most likely will be end of April 2013!
How about the Samsung Galaxy S4 / S IV Price in Malaysia? Well according to DiGi's pre-order plan, the Samsung Galaxy S4 retailed price shall be RM2199. The other telcos did not unveils the retailed price yet at this moment but at least we know it from DiGi for sure.

Today Samsung unveils their new Galaxy S IV / S4 at the Unpacked Event. Finally! Well, Samsung still capable of making its competitors sweat with top notching spec although the outlook designed is not much different from its predecessor - Galaxy S3. According to the unpacked event, it will be available in 155 countries by end of April 2013 which we believe Malaysia should be one of them. We would expect Samsung Galaxy S IV / S4 price in Malaysia at about RM2,100++ as being the market price now for those high end smartphones. Good News - Samsung confirmed that they will be unveil the ALL NEW Samsung Galaxy S IV or Galaxy S4 smartphone, on March 14, 2013 at their Unpacked event - Ready 4 The Show, confirming that the Galaxy S IV is on the way very soon in this year!
The Unpacked will be take place in New York, United Stated as per flyer below. There will also be a live stream for everyone to watch on the day (www.youtube.com/SamsungMobile) . According to the trusted sources, Samsung has been “bombarded” with requests from US's telco to launch the device in US in this year.
In Malaysia as one of the Asia country and near to Korea/China, it is very high possibility for Samsung to make the Galaxy S IV available in Malaysia as early as April this year. The expecting Samsung Galaxy S IV / S4 price in Malaysia should not be too far different from others flagship's smartphones now which should be around RM2299.

Unlike the Samsung Galaxy SIII, the Samsung Galaxy S4 / S IV uses a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen. According to the screen's tech specs it provides even better scratch resistance with a 40% reduction in visible scratches and a 50% enhancement in retained strength after the glass becomes flawed. Rather than just trust all these specs, someone decided to try it out for real using:
While we've seen any number of drop tests between the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the Apple iPhone 5, we've never seen how much punishment each device can actually take. The video below shows just that, putting both smartphones through total destruction tests to see just how tough and durable each smartphone is. The results may surprise you, especially considering that one is made from a supposedly tougher aluminum unibody, while another is mostly premium plastic. Granted, the Samsung Galaxy S4 does have Gorilla Glass 3 but this is only good for screen related tests.
