We're not done with 2021, but Samsung is already working on the Galaxy S22 series. Various rumours of the company's next flagship series, with many of the leaks appearing in the last few weeks. Now, reports claim to have more details on the camera module.

According to GalaxyClub, the Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22+ could both have a telephoto camera with a 3x optical zoom. For comparison, the telephoto camera for the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S21 series only had a 1.1x optical zoom. In exchange, they both have a 64MP main camera with high digital zoom. Previously, it was also rumoured that the new models' telephoto camera would be a 12MP sensor. There's also going to be a 50MP main camera, instead of the 64MP one from before.

Besides the cameras, the Galaxy S22 series is expected to feature the Snapdragon 898 or Exynos 2200 chipsets (depending on region). There are also rumours that Samsung will bring back the 3.5mm audio jack and microSD slot. Moreover, sources claim that the new models will feature a vapour chamber.

From what we can tell, Samsung could be making quite a few changes this time. But what are your thoughts about it so far? Do let us know in the comments below! For further updates on this, stay tuned to TechNave.com.
