You're probably thinking "whatttttt!" But while Samsung isn't scheduled to unveil its upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 5G until 5 August 2020, pre-orders for it will be going up soon. Somehow China has gotten a bit of a leg up on everyone else and will get to pre-order the clamshell foldable by this week.

A new promo poster was spotted by Gizchina, revealing that pre-order for the Galaxy Z Flip 5G will be available in China. It'll be possible for consumers in China to get the Mystic Bronze colour starting from 22 July 2020. The other colours weren't mentioned, but we're quite sure they'll be available too. Anyway, Samsung opening up pre-orders indicates that the device could be ready to ship soon, so expect more regions to announce pre-order sales soon.

To recap on the phone's tech specs, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G will be equipped with a more powerful Snapdragon 865+ chipset. It's also expected to have the same 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, and a 3300mAh battery as the standard Galaxy Z Flip too. Overall, you could say that the new colour, 5G connectivity, and chipset are the main changes in the new model.

It's a little surprising to see China getting to pre-order the Galaxy Z Flip 5G first, but it sort of makes sense as it's the country with one of the highest 5G user base. Hopefully, there will be more pre-order info for other countries soon but for now, do stay tuned to TechNave.com for further updates.
