Those who are eagerly waiting for the Samsung to upgrade its UI to Android 11, here's good news for you. The company announced the closed beta of One UI 3.0 for developers back in August and is now opening to the public. However, it seems that this will be a limited open beta and not many Samsung devices will get the update yet.

According to a Samsung community post (in Korean), this is going to be an open beta targeted at Galaxy S20 series and Note 20 users. At the moment, it seems that only users from Korea will get access to the open beta program. Fortunately, Samsung does plan to expand the number of beta testers. You can register to become a beta tester with the Samsung Members app.

The public beta is currently available for Korea

If you're really keen on trying it out, you can sideload the beta version of One UI 3.0. But do note that you may see some features and apps that are irrelevant outside of the Korean market. Of course, we also want to remind you that this is a beta version so bugs are inevitable. You might not want to upgrade if your smartphone is your primary mobile device.

With that said, are you still keen on trying out the beta when it becomes available here? And are there any new features you would like to see? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned to TechNave.com for further updates on this.
