Samsung could release a Galaxy Z Fold 6 variant with no S Pen

While the latest Samsung foldable devices are months away, rumours about them have been popping up over the months. For the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6, one suggests a possible redesign and another says there's an Ultra variant. Now, we've got another design-related one.

According to Ross Young, Samsung could have a Galaxy Z Fold 6 variant with a larger display than the standard one. The source wasn't sure what the device would be called but claimed it would be priced similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Allegedly, it also wouldn't have S Pen support.

Specifically, the device wouldn't have a digitiser. That's a key component in devices needed for stylus support, as it converts the movement input into digital signals. Since there's no digitiser, the new Z Fold 6 variant could also be slimmer. For your info, last year's Galaxy Z Fold 5 is already quite slim at 6.1mm. So, it has to be below 6mm for it to be noticeably thinner (like maybe 5.5mm).

Of course, nobody has solid confirmation yet, so take the news with a grain of salt. But is a slimmer Galaxy Z Fold 6 without S Pen something you'd want? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
