Mobile World Congress 2020 is less than a month away and it could be an important one for Sony this year. The company is set to reveal three new devices at the annual event in Barcelona, with one supposedly being the Xperia 5 Plus that may come with a 64MP camera sensor.

According to GSMArena, the Xperia 5 Plus may come with a total of five cameras at the back, with the 64MP sensor believed to be for telephoto. It's accompanied by a 12MP camera, a 2MP Time of Flight sensor, a periscope sensor with optical image stabiliser, and a 12MP ultrawide-angle sensor.

Previously, we also had news of a Sony Xperia device found on Geekbench. From the screenshots given, it was believed that the device in question is the Xperia 5 Plus, equipped with Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 865 and 12GB of RAM. Aside from these details and the render above, we don't actually know much about the device yet. Of course, since nothing has been verified by Sony, the two leaks may not even be related.

On our part, we hope that Sony delivers a good product that's priced just right. This could be the year that Sony fits back some fans but for now, we'll have to wait and see.
