Back in April, it was rumoured that OPPO could launch a 7-inch and 8-inch foldable this year. At one point, it was even believed that the device could launch in September. That didn't happen in the end, but we do have some new details about the OPPO foldable.
According to Digital Chat Station, the engineering sample unit of the OPPO foldable smartphone shows a large screen that's about 7.8 to 8-inch in size. The device uses an OLED panel that has a refresh rate of 120Hz, as well as the Snapdragon 888 chipset. As for the OS, it will come with Android 12 out of the box, so expect it to have ColorOS 12.

The tipster also mentioned that the device would have an inward-folding screen, which makes it similar to the Huawei Mate X2. In terms of features, the OPPO foldable will allegedly come with a 32MP front camera, a 50MP rear camera (Sony IMX766 sensor), and a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
Considering how many times the rumours have wrongly predicted the launch window, we don't want to make any claims about that at the moment. Honestly, this device might not even launch in 2021. But what do you think? Share your opinions below, and stay tuned to TechNave for more updates.
