There were speculations that Riot Games is currently in the midst of creating a mobile version of League of Legends. These rumours may just hold water as a leaked video of League of Legends played on a mobile phone complete with a mobile interface have appeared.

The interface looks somewhat similar to other mobile MOBA games out there such as AOV and Mobile Legends. To move, users need to drag on the trackpad on the left side of the device and the abilities and basic attacks are placed on the right. The map is placed on the top left of the screen while summoner spells and recalls are placed in the middle bottom. Underneath the map, players can see their gold as well as what it seems are buffs and effects.

I’ve always thought that skillshots (which is an integral part of the game) would be a problem when implemented on mobile. However, it seems like skillshots can be lined up by dragging the ability icon where you’d want the skill shot to land. The video also shows champ select which also comes complete with rune pages which is super cool.

The map is pretty much similar to PC League of Legends. However, it seems like there are no Nexus turrets (similar to Mobile Legends). Let’s just hope if this game is real, the Nexus turrets would be implemented. Previously, we thought that LoL would be coming to mobile through Tencent's streaming service but perhaps not.

Seeing the crazy success of Mobile Legends, it isn’t surprising that Tencent would want League of Legends on the bandwagon as well. Would you play League of Legends on mobile? Keep up with the latest mobile gaming news on TechNave.com!
