Apple has bragged about how long the new iPhones' batteries can last, but what about their charging capacity? Since the company didn't openly talk about that, we'll need someone else to do the test and find out how fast the new iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max charge. Lucky for us, ChargerLAB has gone and done the test, and they got the results.
According to the test, the iPhone 13 Pro Max can go up to 27W while the vanilla Pro peaks at 23W. With an appropriate USB Power Delivery charger that features at least 30W output, the Pro Max can charge at 27W for a while before temperature constraints lead to throttling. For the standard Pro, the result shows that it's slightly better than last year's iPhone 12 Pro at 20W.
Earlier, the battery capacity for both mentioned iPhones has been confirmed. With a power of 4,352mAh, the iPhone 13 Pro Max can stream videos for up to 25 hours, a 2.5-hour improvement over the iPhone 12 Pro Max. Meanwhile, the iPhone 13 Pro ships with a 3,095mAh cell, bringing 1.5 hours of improvement over the counterpart from last year.
