Since its debut at the Galaxy Unpacked 2025, there hasn't been much information about the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge. However, the battery power was revealed on the UL Demko and BIS databases, as well as the next foldable devices in development.
First, there appear to be two battery models for the Galaxy S25 Edge. Under the number ‘EB-BS937ABY’ and ‘EB-BS937ABE’ and certificate numbers ‘DK-162562-UL’ and ‘DK-162516-UL’, respectively, both are seen using the same 3,786 mAh (rate value) capacities. Previously, reports claimed that a 3,900 mAh battery pack was the figure. 3C certification also said it could support 25W fast charging.
On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 (model numbers ‘EB-BF766ABE’, ‘EB-BF766ABY’, ‘EB-BF767ABE’, and ‘EB-BF767ABY) and Galaxy Z Fold 7 (model number ‘EB-BF966ABE’, ‘EB-BF966ABY’, ‘EB-BF967ABE’, and ‘EB-BF967ABY’) have also appeared on the BIS Database. While there is no information about the batteries, it seems that each model will have four variants, most likely on memory configurations.
From our previous news coverage, the Galaxy S25 Edge is likely to launch in April 2025. We are still early in March, and Samsung has not made any official statement yet. So until then, we will just have to wait and see next month.
