The vivo V5s is not just for selfies, but gaming too

Thanks to vivo's marketing, almost everyone knows that their smartphones, particularly the vivo V5s is known as the #PerfectSelfie smartphone. Packing a 20MP Sony IMX 376 front camera with an aperture of f/2.0 and an updated Selfie Spotlight,  the V5s truly lives up to its reputation. But did you also know that the selfie phone does well in gaming too?

If you’re one hardcore gamer, obviously you will always look out for a respectable processor and plenty of RAM, along with lots of storage for your gaming collection. With the V5s, it offers 64GB internal storage and if you want more space, it has an expandable memory up to 256GB.

Although the V5s features an octa-core 64-bit MediaTek MT6750 processor, it also has a Mali-T860 MP2 GPU inside which is usually found in higher-end devices with a MediaTek Helio P10 chip. With this, the V5s is good enough to run intense games such as Asphalt 8: Airborne with little trouble, with the processor running at 1.5GHz and 4GB RAM. So if you’re the type that can game for the whole day, the 3000 mAh battery can really last that long.

Last but not least, audio plays an important role in gaming too. As mentioned in one of our vivo articles and our review, the V5s sports a 24-bit high-def AK4376 chipset, which helps give gamers a full sound immersion in their mobile gaming experience.

The V5s Black Matte Edition is still on sale in Malaysia for RM1299 since June last month, customers can purchase it in any vivo concept stores. Stay tuned for more vivo Malaysia news at TechNave.com.
