In February, Twitter announced the Super Follow feature that lets the users "super follow" someone to view exclusive content as the social media platform's new paid subscription service. Today, it is reported that the release of the feature might be close soon with a researcher discovered the new design of the profile page.
According to the source, reputable researcher Jane Manchun Wong has found out that Twitter is preparing for the launch of the feature with some design tweaks made to the profile page. It is shown that the feature could be represented by a small circular button or a large Super Follow button. Other than that, it is also spotted that a cash button could be added for the Tip Jar feature reported earlier.
In March, Twitter has also stated that a 30% cut will be given to Apple as the feature is offered as an in-app purchase in the App Store. The social media platform has been rumoured to release several monetized features in the future. There is also Twitter Blue as another subscription service that may have different tiers, not to mention that it could be bundled with the highly-anticipated feature which is the undo action as well.
