If you've been reading the news this morning, you'll know that WWDC 2022 introduced a lot of new things. Besides new Mac laptops, Apple also unveiled new versions of its software like iOS 16 and macOS Ventura. Of course, iPadOS will also be getting an upgrade to iPadOS 16.

Like macOS Ventura, the big feature for iPadOS 16 is probably Stage Manager. This new feature helps you keep track of opened apps, allowing you to group or resize them as you like. Apple also announced the addition of a weather app, a FreeForm app for multi-user collaboration, the ability to view folder size, and more. Overall, we'd say that the look and feel of the new iPadOS have become closer to macOS.

The upcoming Freeform app

Speaking of collaboration, there is also adding a Game Center that's not just there to show your friends' gaming status. In the future, Apple also plans to allow you to use SharePlay while gaming. Apple also mentioned bringing features from Mac PCs to mobile apps for the iPad and the Virtual Memory Swap feature that's essentially virtual RAM.

iPadOS 16 is not out yet, and some of these new features would only be available later. But is there one that you're particularly excited about? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more updates on iPadOS 16.
