WhatsApp officially releases Lists to help you filter chats

For those unaware, WhatsApp has been working on ways we can organize our chats. First, the company introduced filters in April to make it easier to track chats and chat groups. Now, that feature has been expanded further with custom lists.

As mentioned previously, WhatsApp has been working on the 'Lists' feature for a while. It officially released the feature yesterday, allowing us to quickly find specific chats. Of course, these filters can be for friends, work colleagues or something like "Sports Kaki". To create a list, tap the '+' on the filter bar. You can edit existing lists by long-pressing on them.

The advantage of having lists might not be immediately apparent to some. But if you have to track more than a few chats constantly, having a way to filter them can be a real timesaver. WhatsApp Lists should be particularly useful for business owners who use WhatsApp to communicate with customers and clients. By the way, you can add single users or entire chat groups to a List.

If you don't have Lists on your WhatsApp yet, wait for the update to show up in the Google Play or Apple App stores. If you already have the update, tell us on Facebook what you think of the feature so far! And as always, stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
