There has been plenty of rumours of the Xiaomi 12 series in recent weeks. Some say that there will be an improved 50MP camera and some mention a new 120W fast charger. It's also believed that the launch will be next month, and sources have provided the exact date.
According to MyDrivers (via GSMArena), the Xiaomi 12 series will be launched on 12 December 2021. This date will be after the unveiling of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and is considered a sales day in China (just like 11.11). In other words, it won't be surprising if the news is accurate.
If you recall, there's also a rumour claiming that Xiaomi would launch a compact model with the Xiaomi 12 series called the Xiaomi 12X. Regardless, they should all feature Qualcomm's new chipset, a 120Hz display, and the new MIUI 13. In particular, MIUI 13 would have new widgets and animations, as well as new features like AI call recording.
