Xiaomi AX9000 WiFi 6 router release: up to 3.5Gbps download speed and more, priced at ~RM629

We have talked about the new Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 LiteMi Band 6, a pair of wireless charging pads, and a possible foldable Mi MIX phone tonight. Here's another thing that Xiaomi didn't tell you last night, they also officially released a new WiFi 6 router - the Xiaomi AX9000. According to sources, it's able to deliver 3.5Gbps download speed which can finish downloading a 1GB movie within 5.3 seconds.

In terms of tech specs, the AX9000 router supports 9000 megabits and has a dedicated 5G band that can be tripled without interference. There are 12 antennas in total, as well as 12 signal amplifiers to support 4K QAM and 160MHz bandwidth. You can also find a Qualcomm 6-core processor with a 14nm process that consists of 4x A53 cores that goes up to 2.2GHz whereas a dual-core network acceleration goes up to 1.7GHz.

On top of that, it has a memory capacity of 1GB and can support up to 1000 devices at the same time. It's worth noting that the router is fully supported by mesh hybrid networking. On the interface side, it provides a 2.5G-only network port, as well as dual gigabit LAN link aggregation, and has a USB 3.0 port interface. It even has other personalization and advanced features including 16 million colour X-shaped atmosphere lights, active cooling and mute fans and more.
