If nothing goes wrong, Xiaomi is set to launch its next tablet which is the Mi Pad 5 in July. Previous rumours have claimed that the upcoming Mi Pad is going to have a huge 8,520mAh battery and possibly be a foldable one. Until now, a new report has arrived suggesting that the device will also feature a design with squared-off edges just like the one on Apple iPad Pro.
Besides an iPad Pro-like design, the Mi Pad 5 is said to bring an LCD panel that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The tipster also mentioned that the fingerprint scanner is going to be placed at the side. Overall, the tablet is expected to be light and thin as well.
Furthermore, there could be another Pro variant coming with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 870. Meanwhile, the vanilla variant will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200. For now, the exact date of the launch event hasn't been announced yet and we could only wait a little longer for any official information to arrive.
