By now, you might have seen our news about the upcoming launch of the Xiaomi Mi TV 6 series. But that's not the only TV series that the company plans to launch tomorrow (28 June 2021). In fact, a more affordable model with plenty of features has also been confirmed.
According to the Weibo announcement, the TV mentioned is the Mi TV ES 2022 edition. Xiaomi claims that it will deliver greater image quality than its predecessor. On top of that, it will have multi-zone local dimming, high colour accuracy, and high brightness levels. All this will be in a TV that will retail for 4000 yuan (~RM2576).
Besides that, the Mi TV ES 2022 will also offer blue light protection, large internal storage, and far-field microphones for voice control. In terms of design, it's going to have a metal chassis and ultra-thin bezels. Considering the features and price, this TV should be around the 40-inch to maybe 46-inch range.
Quite a few Xiaomi TVs have been launched in Malaysia, which means this model could arrive here. With that said, we'll find out more about it later tomorrow, so stay tuned to TechNave for our launch report on it.
