Xiaomi wasn't kidding when they were going to do a grand finale event of the year, past teasers of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and Mi Pad 2 are proving to be real, and an unexpected Mi Air Purifier 2 also made its debut at the event. While we've covered the Redmi Note 3, the Intel processor-based metal body Mi Pad 2 is going for RMB 999 (662), and a more compact and quiet Air Purifier version will cost RMB 699 (RM463).

Mi Air Purifier 2: High performance in a compact form factor
The Mi Air Purifier 2, is 40% smaller, quieter and more power efficient than the Mi Air Purifier 1. A very much improved product, its mobility is very good too being 520mm tall (down from 735mm) and the base area is smaller than an A4 sheet paper. Also due to its single-motor, dual fan design, its CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) remains high at 330m³/h in standard mode and goes up to 388m³/h in Active mode. In just 10 minutes, it can effectively clean the air in a 23m2 room. User won't need to be bothered by the sound it makes too, at night mode the sound is as low as 30db.
The Redmi Note 3, Mi Pad 2 and Mi Air Purifier 2 will be available from 27 November at 10am on Mi.com and all Mi Home outlets in mainland China. No news yet on Malaysia release dates, but these wonderful cost efficient devices will eventually come here. So stay put!
