It was recently confirmed that the Xiaomi Mi 10 series would be coming sometime in Q1 2020. Leaks of designs and tech specs have certainly been rampant lately but we now have confirmation for one of them. According to XDA Developers, the Mi 10 Pro is definitely one of the devices set to be launched and that it will indeed come with 66W fast-charging.

XDA forum member 'kacskrz' has been digging around and managed to find some proof in MIUI 11 version 20.1.6. The codenames M2001J2C and M2001J1C appear once more and are supposed to correspond to the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro, respectively. And if you recall, it was previously rumoured that the Mi 10 Pro would feature a charge that supports 66W fast-charge.

Aside from that, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun has already confirmed that the Mi 10 series will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. It should also have up to 12GB of RAM, 512GB of internal storage, a 6.5-inch display with 90Hz refresh rate, and a quad-camera setup with a large 108MP main sensor.

It's quite amazing to see how far fast-charging tech has come. With all the features and hardware that the Mi 10 series will be equipped, it could be a star device for 2020. The only question now is how much would it be priced at.
