Yes 5G initially announced that their access to the NVIDIA GeForce NOW cloud gaming service was on exclusive BETA for Yes customers. We already checked it out with our first impressions article and video but that BETA period is coming to a close this 13 April 2023. However, they’ve also announced that it will now be priced at RM40 per month after the BETA. [Update] Yes have come out with RM30 per month instead, but for the full details check it out here.
Yes customers will get some exclusive benefits though, with the first 6 months at 25% off. This means if you’re a Yes customer, you can get access to NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW platform for RM30 for the first 6 months, but you'll have to pay RM40 like normal after that.
While it isn’t exactly the same RM15 price point or lower that the Xbox PC Game pass is currently offering (we were hoping for a lower price, sigh), if you have a fast enough Internet then you can technically play AAA PC games on your tablet, smart TV or non-gaming laptop.
