Aside from Huawei winning multiple awards at the IFA 2016, ZTE also won an award there in Germany for the winner of the 2016 IFA Product Technical Innovation Award in "Breakthrough in Smartphone Audio Innovation" by IDG and German Industry and Commerce Ltd, thanks to the ZTE AXON 7 series.

“We are thrilled once again to receive the 2016 IFA Product Technical Innovation Award – this time for our AXON 7 series. Smartphone audio quality is one of the most important features according to our in-depth consumer market research and we deliberately distinguish the AXON 7 series with our superior sound quality unlike any others.” said Adam Zeng, CEO, ZTE Mobile Devices.

The AXON 7 was recently just released in Malaysia last week for RM1999 (inclusive of GST), offering elegant design, 20MP rear camera and other premium features that a flagship smartphone would offer. Not to forget, ZTE collaborated with many industry experts in audio technology as well as the prestigious Golden Ears Conservatory of music group to develop the AXON 7 series audio performance. Hence, a dedicated Hi-Fi audio chipset was made, along with large front-facing stereo speakers, and Dolby Atmos 7.1 surround sound effects for a movie theatre-like, mobile audio experience.

The device also received great reviews from many industry’s top tech media outlets, for example for consumers in China rated it 97% favorability from one of the biggest online retail platforms JD.com.
