The year 2021 is not even over, but the rumour mill for the Apple iPhone 14 series has been spinning for the last few weeks. Most are rumours, of course, but some are from Kuo Ming-chi. And the latest bit from the well-known analyst is about the camera.

Kuo (via MacRumors) claimed that Apple could include a 48MP camera for the iPhone 14 series. Specifically, it's probably going to be added to the iPhone 14 Pro. This would allow the model to output 48MP images in good lighting, as well as pixel-binned 12MP images in low-light conditions. It's also expected to support 8K video recording.

Besides that, the analyst claimed that Apple would adopt a periscope camera for the iPhone 15 series in 2023. Like the ones used in flagship Android phones, this type of camera would provide high optical zoom for iPhone. This camera might be available only on the Pro variants of the iPhone 15 series.

As usual, Apple takes its time to adopt certain technologies. But we can expect Apple to implement them well. What else are you hoping to see from future iPhones? Share your ideas in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
