Rumours regarding future smartphones never seem to stop, but renders regarding smartphone concepts are few and far in between. Quite often, what is shown in the renders are very close to what appears in the finished smartphone product which is why many were surprised with this latest concept video regarding the Apple iPhone 6. Changes regarding this future smartphone as envisioned by this concept include:
- A Smaller iPhone design
- A bigger 4.5-inch screen
- Narrower bezels
- No Home Button
While the other changes are surprising it is the lack of a Home button which shocks the most as many Apple iPhone users are quite used to the single Home button. It's absence may mean a different form of control which could be gesture based, movement based or other similar controls. This reasoning is based on rumours regarding the new iOS 7 which may introduce gesture based actions similar to the wave controls available on the Samsung Galaxy S4 / S IV. As usual, the concept video is by no means an official video from Apple and like all rumours should be taken with a pinch of salt.
