Last week, we reported on realme’s teaser video of a new smartphone launching on 24 March which turns out to be the realme 8 series. It will be coming in with two variants, the standard version and the Pro version that will be sporting an 108MP camera. Today, realme’s CEO Madhav Seth shared some more additional information about the smartphones.
According to the CEO, the realme 8 series will be the first phones to be running on realme UI 2.0 out of the box based on Android 11 in the global markets since realme GT is a China exclusive smartphone. It will also be having an improved Starry Mode for those milky way hunters to capture sharper starry nights with the 108MP main camera on the realme 8 Pro.

The realme 8 will be coming in with a 6.4-inch AMOLED display while the realme 8 pro will probably sport a larger AMOLED display. Both are running on MediaTek Helio G95 chipset, up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of storage with quad camera setup on the rear. However, the realme 8 Pro will be equipped with a 50W SuperDart charge instead of the 65W SuperDart charge.
Either way, there is no official confirmation on the Malaysia releasing dates yet. But will you be buying this device if it arrives? Let us know at our Facebook page and stay tuned for more tech news updates on TechNave.com.
