Many smartphone brands will be looking to upgrade the displays on flagship devices in 2022. Just last week, Xiaomi announced that its upcoming Xiaomi 12 series would use an LTPO 2.0 display panel. Now, realme has also confirmed that the GT 2 series would use the same panel.

Chase Xu Qi (realme Vice President) has announced that the realme GT 2 series will use the LTPO 2.0 display technology. It's a 6.7-inch display with a max resolution of 3216x1440, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a whopping 1000Hz touch sampling rate. Moreover, realme would be using Corning Gorilla Glass Victus to protect the screen.

This display could be the same one used by Xiaomi for its Xiaomi 12 series, as it also received an A+ rating by DisplayMate. This is probably the display of the realme GT 2 camera edition, which allegedly comes with a horizontal triple camera setup. Sources have also revealed that it would have a large 1TB internal storage.

realme could be adding this to the camera edition so that photos taken can be accurately reproduced on the screen. Would you be more interested in getting this model if that's the case? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more updates about it.
