vivo S6 5G release: Exynos 980 chipset and 48MP main camera from ~RM1635

March has certainly been a busy month for the smartphone brands and we knew from before that vivo was going to launch a new phone soon. Indeed, vivo capped off the month with another launch of a mid-range device. The company unveiled its vivo S6 5G device yesterday, making it the next 5G phone to hit the market.

Previously, a Geekbench record of the vivo S6 5G has confirmed that the phone uses Samsung's Exynos 980 chipset and 8GB of RAM. We also know now that the device comes in two variants with either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage, along with a 6.44-inch AMOLED display and 4500mAh battery with support for 18W fast-charging.

In regards to the cameras, the vivo S6 5G comes with a quad rear camera and single front-facing camera. The rear cameras include a 48MP main camera, 8MP ultrawide camera, 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. As for the front, it's a rather high-resolution 32MP selfie camera. Besides the cameras, this phone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor.
