While the tech media are geeking out over CES 2020, unifi silently announced a new package plan called unifi Mobile Travel Pass. As a Strategic Telecommunication Partner for the Visit Malaysia 2020 initiative, this plan is meant for tourists visiting from overseas with unlimited data starting from RM30. 

Uber is looking to diversify its business and it seems flying taxis are the next goal. At CES 2020, Uber and car manufacturer Hyundai showed up to unveil a four-seater electric flying vehicle that is meant to be used with the Uber app in future. The two companies are still working on the prototype but expect it to be ready by 2023.

During CES 2020, Alienware unveiled the Concept UFO which is a handheld gaming PC the size of a Nintendo Switch. In terms of the tech specs, AndroidAuthority mentioned that the aforementioned gaming device comes equipped with PC-class components like a 10th generation Intel processor.

With 5G technology heading our way this year, Maxis has just announced that they have made a new record of achieving 2.96Gbps for single-user peak speeds. This was recorded at two of their trial sites in Subang Jaya recently, where they have been testing 200MHz of the 3.5GHz C-band spectrum.
