Four upcoming flagship devices appeared on Alipay’s smartphone rental page in China earlier today. Among the devices listed were the OPPO Reno, Huawei P30, Huawei Mate X and the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4.

Redmi GM, Lei Ju, had confirmed a Redmi device with Snapdragon 855 was in the works. Today, a hands-on video showing off the alleged device has surfaced on the internet, showing off the triple rear camera setup and an O cutout on the top and center of the device. Yikes.

Sure the Samsung Galaxy A80 is cool and all but it's the Samsung Galaxy A70 smartphone that everyone asks the price for. Samsung had announced that pre-orders for the device is now open. The 6GB + 128GB variant will be priced at 2999 Yuan (~RM1839) and the 8GB + 128GB variant at 3299 Yuan (~RM2023).

The Samsung Galaxy A70 looks like any ordinary smartphone on the market, unlike the Samsung Galaxy A80. However, it does have some impressive tech specs which include the Snapdragon 675 chipset, a 4500mAh battery capacity with 25W fast charging and supports expandable memory up to 512GB. It features a 32MP selfie camera housed in the Infinity-U notch and as for the rear camera, you’ll find a triple camera setup with 35MP + 5MP (ultra-wide) + 8MP sensors.

In terms of design, it does have an array of colours to choose from which are Laser Black, Pearl White, Coral Orange and more. No sign of a Malaysia price yet or Malaysia release date yet but we’ll let you know on TechNave.com when we do. Is the price of this device what you expected it to be?

Earlier today, telco companies such as Celcom, Maxis, U Mobile, DiGi and more have showcased their 5G solutions in Putrajaya earlier today. At the test bed, many of the telcos gave a brief introduction to the 5G technology as well as the benefits that this new network will bring such as higher bandwidth with speeds of up to or even more than 1.6Gbps, lower latency, greater stability, better reception in a crowded area and so on. The Galaxy A80 will be available on 29 May 2019 globally, so it should arrive in Malaysia on the same date. No news yet where exactly it will be made available but we assume that it will be at all authorized resellers and online channels such as the official Samsung stores at Shopee and Lazada.

This statement debunks images that have been floating online showing off the device with a pop up camera. He instead confirms that a smartphone with the Snapdragon 855 chipset is in the works.
