A leaked 2018 Huawei product roadmap has revealed that there will be series of Honor phones coming each quarter of 2018 starting with the Honor 1 up until the Honor 4 along with codenamed devices (Maya, Salina ~ could these be Nova phones?) on top of the next Huawei P Plus, P and P Lite expected in Q2 2018. The next Huawei Mate series will have a Mate Pro and Mate Lite in Q4 2018 while a Huawei A2 Band wearable will be coming in Q1 2018.

In this case, vivo may just be the first company to do so and according to rumours, the XPlay 7 could be the first smartphone to feature this new biometric system.

After announcing their OPPO A75 and A75s midrangers, OPPO also announced their entry-level OPPO A83 with a large 5.7-inch HD fullview display (720 x 1440 pixels, 18:9 aspect ratio) for 1399 CNY (~RM873). Other tech specs include a 2.5GHz octa-core processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB storage and a 13MP rear camera plus 8MP front camera. Despite the large display size it only packs in a 3090 mAh battery due to its 7.7mm thin body.

OPPO officially launched their OPPO A75 and A75s midranger smartphones for Taiwan recently for 10990 NTD (~RM1497) for the A75 and 11990 NTD (~RM1634) for the A75s. Both have 6-inch FHD+ (1080 x 2160 pixel) displays and MediaTek Helio P23 processors with 4GB of RAM but the A75 has 32GB of storage while the A75s has 64GB.
