Great news for Celcom subscribers who will be travelling a lot this two Muslim months of Ramadhan and Syawal – the company will be offering free unlimited data usage on Waze. This promo is available from 9 June until 8 August.

At the end of last month, we reported that the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (SM-A910F) got a WiFi Alliance's certification which means that it will release an international version soon. How soon? Might be sooner than you think, since it just got a Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) certification hinting a launch.

We are just two days away from the official OnePlus 3 launch in China, usually when nearing the event companies would try to release more teasers to hype the market. In this case, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau himself has been busy promoting OnePlus 3, especially on the photos he took with the phone highlighting the camera quality.

This week, in a field previously dominated by Samsung and LG, Lenovo showed off their flexible phone-watch bracelet and foldable tablet concept alongside their modular Moto Z and Moto Z Force. Lenovo also announced their Phab 2, Phab 2 Plus and Phab 2 Pro (which is the first consumer Tango phone) while the ZTE nubia Z11 Max also went official as well. In China, the Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro officially appeared as well.

The good folks at Honor Malaysia have confirmed that the honor 5C will be coming to Malaysia. No specific Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet but it was announced in China for $138 (~RM537). Featuring a Kirin 650 processor and 5.2-inch full HD display, the smartphone will also carry Android 6.0 Marshmallow, which are better tech specs than the current honor 5X.

So, here's a news 'Flash'. In collaboration with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment, Samsung Malaysia Electronics will be releasing 500 units of exclusive Galaxy S7 edge Injustice Edition in Malaysian on 17 June 2016. It will be available for online order starting from 10AM, 17 June 2016 at a recommended retail price of RM4099 (inclusive of 6% GST) at www.samsung.com/my/gs7injustice.

While many companies are trying to manufacture foldable or bendable phone designs, Lenovo is actually the first to show a working prototype. At their Lenovo Tech World event where they announced the Moto Z and Lenovo Phab2 family, they also showcased working foldable smartphones to the public.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is shaping up to be the ubermensch flagship smartphone from the company.
