Since announcing the Moto G5 and G5 Plus during MWC, it seems that Lenovo had been hard at work to bring it to retail across the globe. First there were reports that it will be made available in Russia in the month of April and will carry a price tag of RUB 12,990 (about RM987) in the country. It was followed by India where its official Moto India Twitter account teased about the Moto G5 Plus that will be arriving on 15 March, but no pricing details were made available.

UK is next in line to receive the Moto G5, as it seems that John Lewis, an online retailer had started listing it too.

The BlackBerry KEYone, which was announced by TCL and Blackberry during MWC, is priced at US$550 for the United States. It seems there’s a retailer in India that have posted up the retail price, as well as device specifications on its website.

As you already know, Samsung was awarded the "Best Smartphone" in MWC 2017 with the Galaxy S7 edge which seems quite odd factoring the fact that the phone is a year old, however, there is another winner during the event which is Sony for winning for the "Best New Smartphone" award for the Xperia XZ Premium.

At the MWC 2017, Meizu made an appearance presenting their latest technology the Super mCharge. The Super mCharge technology is not unknown as most of their smartphones already has the technology, however, what's intriguing about this one is that it can fully charge a phone even faster than before.

Already teased by Samsung that the device will be unpacked on 29 March 2017, we are getting more "legit" leaks of how the phone will look like.

According to a market research done by Gartner, Acer is currently leading the Chromebook market globally as they have won again for three consecutive years of leadership in this segment.

If you had not heard of Android One, well it was originally an idea by Google in partnership with local manufacturers, to produce low-priced smartphones to be sold in emerging markets. These devices are made to Google’s specifications and runs on stock Android. All Android One phones are guaranteed one OS upgrade, whereby the security and system updates are handled by Google themselves.

Well, the latest Android One phone announced, the GM6, comes from Turkish manufacturer, General Mobile. It is the first Android One device to feature a fingerprint reader, which is placed at the bottom of the screen, and also acts as its home button too.

Maybank announced that, starting 4th March 2017, they will be making new security upgrades on its Maybank2u mobile app as part of their effort to continuously protect your online banking transactions from emerging threats.
