Not satisfied with having several new phones in the rumour pipelines, Vivo is said developing yet another smartphone with a large front selfie camera unit – this time under their V series. We may be looking at the new Vivo V5 and V5 Plus.  

We like the Huawei P9 here at TechNave, so we are expecting great things from the logical successor to the phone, the Huawei P10. A new benchmark has appeared on GFXBench, that may give us clues on the specs of the future Huawei flagship smartphone. 

A new model name from OnePlus just popped up on the well-known benchmark suite Geekbench’s website. This new model is totally unknown and came from the leftfield. What is it? The OnePlus Pixel looks like a tuned down OnePlus 3 – perhaps a replacement after the OnePlus 3T is released?

For those who are looking to get their own unit of the new MacBook Pro – you may have to wait. The new MacBook Pro is already setting new sales record for Apple, and now there are numbers to back that claim. The report states that the new models took only 5 days to out sell just about every other laptops in the market.

As Huawei has introduced their latest and most expensive smartphone to date - the Mate 9 and Porsche Design Mate 9 a few weeks ago, the company is said to look into releasing a new variant called the Mate 9 Pro as an exclusive to the China market only.

According to Barclays Research analysts Blayne Curtis, Christopher Hemmelgarn, Thomas O'Malley, and Jerry Zhang, Apple is likely to upgrade their Apple iPhone display size to 5-inch and 5.8-inch next year for the  iPhone's 10th Anniversary, currently, Apple uses 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch for their iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.

The big news this week included the fact that Maxis finally upped their game with 2x upgrades to their MaxisONE Plan and while they initially said it was RM199, Webe are now offering their unlimited mobile Internet plan for just RM79 apparently for a limited time only. Celcom offered some better Apple iPhone 7 bundles with their new FIRST Gold Plus plan.

It appears that another Apple iPhone 7 Plus has exploded, this time in China and apparently after dropping to the ground. After the drop, the battery caught fire, emitted smoke and expanded, shattering the display.
