As the number of wireless devices continues to grow in Malaysia, telcos like P1 are finding more and more such devices interfering with the 2.3GHz spectrum assigned to them. While nearly all of these devices claim that they run on the higher 2.4GHz band, when set to default some of these wireless devices are actually using the 2.3GHz band to transmit data, causing frequency interference to connectivity.  To see if these devices actually do affect these services we've carried out testing of a Wireless AV transmitting device with a P1 DX230 Home modem. Utilizing an ASUS ZenPad 8.0 Z380KL tablet to connect via speedtest.net and YouTube, we checked for frequency interference in the video in this article.

The HTC One A9 is finally official and confirms nearly all the previous leaks. Yes, it looks nearly identical to the all metal Apple iPhone but it comes with a slightly thicker 7.3mm aluminum unibody chassis. While the 13MP rear camera is protruding it is situated in the top center rather than the corner while a 4MP UltraPixel front camera graces the front. We've certainly come a long way in terms of smartphone technology with personal assistants like Siri and Google Now that we can command with our voice. With just three more days for the upcoming Budget 2016 (23 October 2015), the National ICT Association of Malaysia (PIKOM) have prepared a few recommendations or 'Wish List' to the Malaysia government for the budgetary plans of the ICT sector next year.

The Huawei Mate S made a splash at the IFA 2015 as the world's first smartphone to implement a pressure sensitive Force Touch like feature alongside various other high-end functions as well. While we did say that it was expected in September, the invites have already been sent out confirming that the Huawei Mate S will be coming to Malaysia on 27 October 2015.

Leaked images of the upcoming HTC One A9 (set for announcement tomorrow) indicate that like the Lenovo Sisley, the One A9 is going to look like the Apple iPhone 6. While the Sisley didn't have a protruding camera and actually changed up the antenna positioning, the One A9 looks to be nearly identical to the iPhone 6. Cher Wang, HTC CEO was even quoted as mentioning that the One A9 will be a good alternative to Apple's iPhones, as it "strikes a balance between beauty, performance and simplicity."

Tech specs and features include a midrange Snapdragon 617 processor, 2GB / 3GB RAM, 16GB /32GB storage, a 5-inch FHD display, 13MP rear camera and Android 6.0. No Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet but it is going for €599 (RM2883) in Europe. We do recommend taking a pinch of salt with this as it is still a rumour but we'll find out more tomorrow.

Rumours about the Meizu Blue Charm Metal, which will make its debut on 21 October 2015 include that it will feature a magnesium-aluminium alloy build to give it a more premium feel. But first, the tech specs:-

The Huawei Watch special edition was recently revealed by Huawei Consumer Business Group (BG) and styled by renowned Italian designer Barnaba Fornasetti for the guests at Vogue China's tenth anniversary party at Milan Fashion Week 28 September 2015. The watch is made of modern technology, design and art represents a collaboration between Huawei, Vogue China and Fornasetti. The smart watch allows users to stay online wherever they are, with calls, texts, instant messages and email notifications.
