As of 8 April 2016, ezyCourier Malaysia made their debut as the "new kid on the block" in the Malaysia courier industry, officially launched by MCMC Chief Officer of Communication, Digital Services and Standards, Dato’ Mohd Ali Hanafiah Mohd Yunus, and Director of ezyCourier Malaysia, John Gun, the ceremony happened at the Malaysia IT Fair 2016 held at the MidValley Exhibition Centre. 

In our first weekly roundup this week at TechNave, Malaysia's Technology hub, the biggest event was quite obviously the launch of the Huawei P9 and P9 Plus where they confirmed their dual camera and LEICA partnership rumours spectacularly. Just over the weekend in Macau, HP has announced the new HP Spectre as the world's thinnest laptop, measuring at only 10.4mm thick and 1.11kg. The lightweight laptop is durable yet stylish with a carbon fibre bottom, high glass copper accents that reflect a hand-polished, jewelry-like finish and an innovative hidden piston hinge creates the illusion of a hinge-less design to offer an unmatched premium look-and-feel. It currently cost $1249 (around RM4851) and it will be available in Asia Pacific and Japan at May.

In just 24 more hours, HTC will be revealing the very much hyped HTC 10 as the "smoothest and fastest Android phone" ever, along with a confirmed BoomSound audio, 4K video recording, Ultrapixel technology with OIS, and an awesome battery life. In this latest leaked image (and hopefully the last), it's shown to be a black HTC 10 which looks kind of good so far.

It seems that the signed agreements between Celcom, P1 and TM back in January are showing results. This collaboration may probably end up turning WeBe into a new mobile operator. Originally WeBe was just a community site for anyone to post a project that they want to have happened, then with enough WeBe community to back it, to then start receiving funds for their project.

From the leaked photos surfacing from popular local blogs and websites, it seems that WeBe will be offering 20GB of data, 1000 talk time minutes, and 1000 SMS for RM8/month. Best of all their unlimited plan will only cost RM80/month for unlimited 4g internet, unlimited SMS and unlimited phone calls.

The Redmi Note series Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 was made available in Malaysia on the Xiaomi store on 6th of April. Now Celcom has also made it available for you to purchase the phone through the Celcom FIRST plan. The Redmi Note 3 can be purchased from only RM428 with a 24-month contract. There are two available plans; one is the FIRST Gold plan, and the other is the First Blue plan.

U Mobile releases a new roaming plan for frequent travelers out there. If you are a U Mobile subscriber, it does not matter whether if you are on the prepaid or postpaid plan, you will be entitled to their new U Data Roam plan for only RM10/day. The promotion period will last from 7 April 2016 until 31 December 2016. This new plan will include a high-speed unlimited data usage but currently, it is only available in 12 countries as per the table displayed below.

Aries Telecoms, the Malaysia local wholesale telecommunications service provider, has just recently launched a 1Gbps broadband package pricing at RM5000 a month. The broadband package was launched under the product name Infinity. Clearly their target market is not your ordinary consumers due to the steep cost of the product. Instead, they are targeting those businesses that require high-speed internet connection for their daily operation in the company.
