It seems that Lenovo is planning to introduce the Lemon 3 smartphone in MWC 2016 at Barcelona, according to the teaser which bears a lot of similarities to the Lemon 3 that we saw online last month.
The thing about the Lemon 3 is that it is affordable and has exactly the same price as the Xiaomi Redmi 3 (around RM470). The specifications aren't too shabby as well, sporting an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage (expandable memory available), a 5-inch Full HD 1080P display, featuring13MP rear camera (with LED flash) and a 5MP at the front, a pair Dual Dolby Atmos speakers, supports 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Micro USB, operates on Android 5.1 Lollipop, and finally runs on a 2750 mAh battery.

While the honor 5X and honor 7 Enhanced Edition were both previously launched as well as priced in Malaysia, there was only a pre-order for the honor 5X with no release date for the honor 7 Enhanced. The folks at honor Malaysia have since cleared thad up announcing that the metal frame, fingerprint sensor equipped smartphones will be available tomorrow on 16 February 2016 at 12pm.
The honor 5x still packs in an RM899 price tag for the grey and silver versions, while the gold coloured version is going for RM939. The honor 7 Enhanced Edition brings better tech specs like 32GB of storage and NFC over the honor 7 at RM1499. Deliveries for the honor 5X pre-order will be done on 19 February 2016, so you won't have to wait long.

Building upon the first Moto 360 smartwatch, it looks like the Moto 360 2nd Generation is coming to Malaysia on 18 February 2016. Thanks to the invite we've received it looks like the whole family is coming with the Moto 360 2nd Gen and Moto 360 Sport.
We're expecting both the 46mm and 42mm Moto 360 2nd Gen smartwatches as well but there are still no official pricing details. Our current pricing shows the Moto 360 2nd Gen 42mm coming in from RM1411 while the 46mm version is going from RM1550 so prices could be around those or lower. Stay tuned for more details.

With the MWC 2016 just around the corner, LG Electronics has announced two X series models that they are going to show in Barcelona – The LG X cam and X screen. These duo X series mid-range smartphones are designed for users a unique user experience and great camera or advanced display.
“Everyone has a favorite smartphone feature,” said Juno Cho, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “At LG, we think there’s room for devices that do one thing very well and that customers shouldn’t have to pay for features that they don’t want. At the end of the day, we’re committed to offering consumers more choices.”

The Sony α6300 is the company's latest mirrorless camera addition and it boasts an impressive 4D FOCUS system that can lock focus on a subject in 0.05 seconds, backed up by an incredible 425 phase detection AF point system that can also shoot images up to 11 fps with continuous autofocus and exposure tracking. In addition, its Tru-Finder or LCD screen can support a full live-view continuous shooting up to 8 fps along with a 4K video recording capability, and produce outstanding image quality with the latest newly developed 24.2MP APS-C sized Exmor CMOS sensor together with a BIONZ X image processing engine.
On the other hand, Sony will also bring in their flagship G Master brand of interchangeable lenses into Malaysia. Both the new FE 24-70mm F2.8 GM Standard Zoom and 85mm F1.4 GM Telephotoprime lenses will be available in Malaysia from March 2016, while the new 70-200mm F2.8 GM Telephoto Zoom Lens and its compatible 1.4x and 2x Tele converters will be available from May 2016. Prices are yet to be listed.

Previously it was the black Samsung Galaxy S7 that supposedly got photographed but now the gold version has also been captured, this time with the front as well. While it isn't very clear, it does seem as if the rear camera hump is indeed thinner, if not completely flat. It could just be another dummy or Samsung Galaxy S6, but the curved back does look authentic however do take this with a pinch of salt. No tech specs, pricing details or Malaysia release dates yet, but the Galaxy S7 is expected to get an official reveal on 21 February 2016 in a Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event.

The Pro version of the Lenovo Vibe P1, the stylish metal phone with a 5000 mAh battery has officially been announced as the Lenovo Vibe P1 Turbo for Indonesia. While the 5000 mAh battery and most of the other tech specs remain the same, the major difference is that it now packs in a 16MP rear camera with what they say is a tricolour flash. No Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet, but it is going for 3999 IDR (RM1227) on pre-order.

Serial leaker @evleaks strikes again with a side render of the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge in silver. While it doesn't confirm any tech specs or features like the previous press renders or AnTuTu score it does seem to confirm rather minute changes in design for the upcoming smartphone. No Malaysia release dates or price details yet but the Galaxy S7 edge is expected to debut with the Samsung Galaxy S7 at a Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event on 21 February 2016.

After its recent launching, the folks at honor Malaysia have officially announced the Malaysia pricing for the honor 5X and honor 7 Enhanced Edition smartphones. The honor 5X will be going for RM899 for the grey and silver versions while the more premium metallic front gold version will be priced at RM939. Both are currently not available yet, but you can register your interest for the honor 5X.
The honor 7 Enhanced Edition offers a more premium metallic front look with NFC and 32GB internal storage for RM1499. This is quite the value buy over the RM1399 priced honor 7 which already offers excellent performance in its own right. Huawei recently announced one of their first entries into the big battery with Huawei Y6 Pro which we assume is based on the recently announced Huawei Enjoy 5. Featuring a 4000 mAh battery and a metal frame with a "water ripple" backside, it looks to enter the entry-level to midrange market soon. No news yet on any Malaysia release dates or pricing details but it will come in gold, gray and white.
