The Samsung Galaxy J5 was released in Malaysia just last year August and it proved to be quite popular for customers who were looking for a good affordable smartphone. We just got word that a newer Galaxy J5 (2016) version has been tested on GFXBench, and the tech specs looks pretty good.

From the image above, the device is an improvement from its predecessor. The only thing that didn't change is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset + 1.2 GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU, the camera sensor has also dropped to 12MP from 13MP (which is quite surprising). 

As mentioned in our last LG G5 post, LG will make an appearance at the MWC 2016 next month to go head on with Samsung and Sony. We have already showed you how the render might look like based on the eyewitness testimony, now there's another one leaked in the internet and it looks quite similar to the previous render.

It's reported that the G5 is probably going full metal, the four corners are curved and the volume buttons are placed on the left just like the first render. What's interesting to note that, the power button is actually placed at the bottom along with the speaker, while the headphone jack remains at the top. The device will have a fingerprint sensor on the back too.

Good news for iPad users, Logitech did a collaboration with Apple recently and the company has unveiled its first accessories designed for the new Apple iPad Pro and iPad Mini 4. Introducing the with Logitech CREATE Backlit Keyboard Case and the Logitech Focus Flexible Protective Case, both accessories are available now for RM699 (with GST) and RM199 (with GST).

The world's thinnest cameraphone with 3x optical zoom features a 13MP PixelMaster rear camera with 10-element lens from Hoya, dual-prim periscope, OIS (optical image stabilization), 0.03 laser autofocus and dual-LED real tone flash, the ASUS ZenFone Zoom ZX551ML, was recentlylaunched here in Malaysia for RM2099. Along with it, ASUS Malaysia also revealed the ASUS ZenFone 2 Deluxe Special Edition ZE551ML, ZenWatch 2, ZenBook Pro UX501 and Zen AiO Pro Z240ICGK. Sony Malaysia's acclaimed Cyber-shot series is back with a brand new RX compact camera  - theRX1R II (model DSC-RX1RM2). It will be released in Malaysia on 25 February onwards with a price tag of RM14999 (with GST), customers can also make a pre-order starting from 25 January – 21 February via Sony Stores, Sony Centres, authorised Sony dealer outlets, and www.sony.com.my.

Microsoft Malaysia has recently released two new devices nationwide – the Lumia 550 smartphone and the Nokia 230 Dual SIM feature phone. Both are currently available for RM 559 (with GST) and RM269 (with GST) in selected authorized retailer stores which are listed below.

During CES 2016, Fujifilm has revealed not one but four new models for camera enthusiasts – a point and shoot FinePix XP90, the premium X-Pro 2, and two mid-range cameras X-E2S and X70. All four models will be available in February (Malaysia still unknown though), prices are listed below.

Are foldable smartphones possible? Not the ones like the flipping phones back in the days, but a smartphone that could be bend in half along with the screen. It seems crazy to even consider that idea, but then again the idea of having a touchscreen was also crazy; and it worked.

HSBC analysts have predicted that Samsung will be the first to release such device, claiming that Samsung have always had that goal in mind few years ago; with a leaked presentation slide plans to release the first foldable smart devices by 2018. Here's what HSBC speculates:-

Although CES 2016 is already over, there's still one more thing we thought we can share with you all because of how super cool it is. During the convention, LG has showed us that the future is already here with its rollable OLED TV. Yes, a rollable TV. 

Two year ago, LG said they were confident that they could release the 60-inch flexible 4k TV by 2017. Well clearly that seems to be happening, since they have showed off the product at the convention, it can be rolled up like a newspaper  with all the UHD (4K) and High Dynamic Range (HDR) feature in it. You can literally carry it around to anywhere you go!
