By now, you should already know that the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ price tag are officially announced by Samsung Malaysia. Many telcos and online portals are getting ready to announce their pre-order for the Samsung flagships, but mobile 4G brand YES wants to be first to tell you that they are also participating and you can pre-order the devices through them.

This week, it seems that not one, but three unknown Huawei smartphones variants have been spotted on TENAA. Under the codename TRT-AL00A, TRT-AL00, and TRT-TL10, it looks like these models are designed for various networks. Let’s take a look of what the list says about the tech-specs.

Samsung Malaysia officially announced that their pre-order for the Samsung Galaxy S8 (RRP set at RM3299) and Galaxy S8 Plus (RRP set at RM3699) will start on 7 April 2017 from 10:00am. If it doesn't all get snapped up in an hour then the pre-order period will end on 9 April 2017. As is customary for the official pre-order there will be a bunch of freebies worth RM900 including a Limited Edition Starter kit (clear cover, screen protector, wireless charger stand, USB Type-C cable) + 5100 mAh battery pack + Samsung Protection Plus (1-year screen crack protection, 1-time replacement over 12 months, 1-year extended warranty) plan.

Today, Canon Malaysia is proud to announce the latest models in Malaysia - the Canon EOS 800D, EOS 77D, and EOS M6. All the models are now available at all Canon Image Square and authorized dealers nationwide with a price tag of RM3299, RM3799, and RM3409 respectively for the body. 

According to DigiTimes, Apple is planning to release their upcoming next-gen Apple Watch Series 3 in the second half of 2017. We can safely assume that this will launch together with their 10^th Anniversary iPhone this year, as it also tally with Economic Daily News which will be revealed in the third quarter of 2017.

With the Honor 8 Pro officially released in Europe, another new device was also launched alongside there which is the Honor 6C. Although not exactly a new phone, as it was launched in China during January, it didn’t really make any headlines globally because it was under a different name (Huawei Enjoy 6s) so here’s what we know of the device.

Aside from the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 that’s going on sale and gaining favourable reviews, the Mi Pad series is also another tablet from the company that we haven’t heard in a long time. Looking to score a world's first, Alcatel have listed their Alcatel Flash smartphone featuring 8MP + 5MP dual front and 13MP + 13MP dual rear cameras, a deca-core (10 cores) MediaTek Helio X20 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, 5.5-inch full HD display with dragontrail glass, 3100 mAh body and a fingerprint sensor. Granted, the other tech specs don't really impress much but the 4 cameras on the phone do mean hardware based bokeh or portrait mode with blurred background selfies and rear shots for the Alcatel Flash (not to be confused with the Flash or Flash 2). No Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet but it could come to Malaysia eventually.

Right on cue, Honor have officially and globally confirmed the Honor V9 (which was announced for China) as the Honor 8 Pro. We initially saw it a bit earlier with some hands-on pics but the tech specs have been confirmed to include a Kirin 960 processor, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, a 5.7-inch 2K or 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution display and Android 7.0 + EMUI 5.1 right out of the box. It will also have 4G LTE, NFC, 12MP dual rear cameras (one of them being monochrome), 8MP front camera, an infrared universal remote controller, 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type C port and a hybrid Dual SIM slot. It will measure in at 157 x 77.5 x 6.97mm and 184g while still packing in a 4000 mAh battery.
