It's not uncommon to see China companies making their own OEMs based on Android, you have Xiaomi's MIUI, OPPO's ColorOS, Meizu's Flyme OS and of course, Huawei's EmotionUI which is getting quite popular these days (certainly one of my favourite operating system). According to some industry sources, word has it that Huawei has already been working on EMUI 5.0 version for some time now and they are trying to bring a new UI makeover to closely resemble Android OS

One of the main investors in Chinese phone makers OnePlus, Vivo and Oppo, BBK Electronics Corporation, has just launched a new brand in China called imoo and it will be reportedly producing the world's “first educational smartphone”.

If you are using a Google Nexus device now – take note of this news. Google just listed the end-of-support dates for their current Google Nexus devices, i.e. end dates when they will roll out updates, security updates and releases of new OS versions.

Earlier this month, we reported that the Meizu MX6 could launch at the second half of 2016. Well, that turn out to be quite true as we just got a release date leak of the reveal date - 16 July 2016 and the press conference will be held in Beijing, China. At least according to the leaked information. 

Entries in both India and Korea’s government database points that we will be seeing a new Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 pretty soon. First announced in 2014, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 set to get upgrades across the tab for its specs.

The Xiaomi Mi Max has received a great response since its launch a month or so ago. But Xiaomi is not resting on their laurels – according to an AnTuTu benchmark, there could be a lite version of that beefy smartphone in the works.
