Building upon the powerful yet affordable ASUS ZenPower 9600 mAh powerbank, ASUS Malaysia recently revealed two new powerbanks with the 10050 mAh ASUS ZenPower Pro and 20100 mAh ASUS ZenPower Ultra. Both feature quick charge, dual USB ports and a built-in LED flashlights in compact space saving form factors. The ZenPower Pro will be priced at RM129 while the ZenPower Ultra will go for RM249, with both set to be available in Malaysia by the end of July 2016.

Remember the Samsung Smart Glow, their take on a new generation of notification LED? Well now they have released a product with the new system. The Samsung Galaxy J2 2016 was just announced in India featuring the new LED tech.

With the recent quiet announcement of the Samsung Galaxy J Max, there was another one appearing in South Africa too, called the Galaxy J1 Ace Neo, as a tiny entry-level 4.3-inch smartphone. Below are the tech-specs listed from Samsung South Africa website:

HTC 10 has been out for quite some time now, and it hasn't been able to sell well commercially despite being praised for being the best HTC smartphone so far. Why is that? Perhaps price might have something to do with it since in Malaysia currency it's listed RM2799 in 11street.com which is kind of expensive.

It appears that Samsung have also embraced the tablet phone form factor with the official announcement of the Samsung Galaxy J Max which comes with a 7-inch 720p HD display (1280 x 800 pixel resolution). Priced at 13400 INR (RM798), other tech specs are similarly lower end with a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. We expect it to have the latest 4G LTE dual SIM capabilities as the Galaxy J1 2016 though and it does come with a large 4000 mAh battery.

The Xiaomi group from China, while known for selling good quality devices in an affordable manner, they are also known for not having a physical store and relies on online sales especially their annual flash sales every year. It is not known if because of that, that's why Xiaomi is no longer in the top 5 spot for manufacturing phones last quarter, as OPPO and Vivo made their way into the ranks in China.

So here's another news of the rumoured Xiaomi Mi Note 2, we know it's coming thanks to its teaser promo from the company. Rumours have it that it might be ready to be launched at the IFA 2016 in Berlin this coming September. However, that might not be the case as a new gossip just came out of China about the device's release date to be scheduled differently.

Word on the Xiaomi Mi 5S has been going around that it could be released in August and adopt a pressure sensitive display from our previous news. One would wonder just how advanced the Mi 5S version is, well, get aboard the rumour train and check out what we've heard so far.

Apparently the HTC 10 is now available in Malaysia at 11street.my for RM2799. The listing has it priced at RM2799 with GST and a free Ice View case worth RM159. Three colours are available which include gold, grey and silver while tech specs reveal it to be the 4GB RAM version with 32GB storage and 4G LTE.

While it doesn't appear to be an official launch, it is being handled by Dynamics Distribution which is a fairly big official smartphone distributor in Malaysia. Perhaps they are going this way to minimize costs and maximize profits. Both the OnePlus X and BlackBerry Classic have officially been discontinued. With no plans in the works for a successor, it looks like the OnePlus X is dead in the water after only 7 months availability. The BlackBerry Classic may have had a longer run of 18 months, but it also looks like BlackBerry is trimming down their product lines.
