Samsung confirms the rumours with the official unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S range of tablets. The range will start with models featuring 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution Super AMOLED displays, super slim and thin profiles and high-end tech specs and features. The range includes the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 in both WiFi and 4G LTE. The tablets also come with various accessories that include the Book Cover, Simple Cover and Samsung Bluetooth Keyboard which will be made available when the tablets are available. The tablets screens include features like Adaptive Display for intelligent adjustment of gamma, saturation and sharpness, a 100000:1 contrast ratio and no backlight which makes the tablets even more energy efficient and thin. Samsung Malaysia recently announced that the Galaxy K Zoom cameraphone is available in Malaysia for RM1699. Picking up from the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom, the new Galaxy K Zoom offers a more compact chassis and a telescoping 10x optical zoom along with a 20.7MP BSI CMOS sensor. Other tech specs and features include an Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS), Xenon Flash and a host of camera specific features. These features include AF/AE Separation (Auto Focus/ Auto Exposure Separation), Pro Suggest mode and Selfie Alarm so you can take quality pictures regardless of the situation.

We earlier reported on the Volkswagen Onefootball Brasil app for football fans looking to get the latest news on the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Volkswagen has since updated us that they've reached the 1 million download mark. The app is still available for free on the App store, Google Play and Windows Phone Store while the accompanying Volkswagen Polo Sedan contest is still on until 13 July 2014.

ASUS Malaysia has managed to bring in the 2GB version of the ASUS ZenFone 5 smartphone for Malaysia at the same price of RM599. Previously, the ASUS ZenFone 5 smartphone slated for Malaysia was the version with 1GB RAM and a lower speed processor but after some wrangling with ASUS HQ, ASUS Malaysia managed to get the higher-end version to us. At RM599, the new ZenFone 5 brings a faster 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z2560 processor and 2GB of RAM to users while other high-end tech specs and features like the 8MP PixelMaster rear camera, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protected display and 5-element lens remains the same. The 4G LTE revolution continues as OPPO has officially announced the OPPO R3, a midrange smartphone featuring 4G LTE connectivity and a 6.3mm thin body. As such OPPO are saying it is the world's thinnest LTE smartphone (for now) but the current version only supports LTE bands in China. Other tech specs include a 1.6GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, 5-inch IPS display with 720p pixel resolution, 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, a 2420 mAh battery and Android 4.3 with OPPO ColorOS. Measurements for the OPPO R3 include 142.3 x 70.4 x 6.3mm and 140g. Since it is set for China, it is priced at 2290CNY (RM1182) which is a bit high considering the new range of below RM1000 4G LTE smartphones coming soon to Malaysia. Hopefully, OPPO Malaysia can get the price right if or when it does come here in Malaysia.

Samsung Malaysia is bringing the Samsung Galaxy 11 World Tour to Malaysia from 13 June 2014 to 22 June 2014. The showcase will offer users a close encounter with the Samsung Galaxy S5, Galaxy Gear 2 and Gear Fit devices with various activities to be held at the Orange Concourse in Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall. According to Samsung Malaysia, the Galaxy 11 World Tour takes place in only 10 countries of the world, with Malaysia being one of them. Users will also get the opportunity to trade in any pre-owned mobile phone for a brand new GALAXY S5. A cash voucher equal to the value of the pre-owned mobile phone will be given along with an additional RM200 voucher for massive value.

We've all been wishing for some foldable display devices from Samsung for quite some time now, but according to an internal document timeline, we won't see such devices until 2015. Rumours in Korean media indicate that we could finally get some tech specs about the foldable device in that it may be a 9-inch or so tablet when unfolded and a 5-inch or so device when folded. The rumours go on to say that the tablet will be built using plastic which could be the key to making it affordable enough to buy. So far, we've yet to see any foldable display device from anyone, including Samsung and LG who have so far been the only manufacturers to come up with flexible displays. No news yet on how much this foldable device might cost or any specific Malaysia release dates, but you can enjoy the concept videos below:

The Samsung Galaxy S5 mini rumoured to be based on the Samsung Galaxy S5 recently made an appearance next to the Galaxy S5. The pics don't reveal much more than what we already know, that the Galaxy S5 mini is likely to be just as water resistant as the Galaxy S5 and that it will feature the same perforated design as before. However, the pics do come with benchmarks from AnTuTu, which show the Galaxy S5 mini getting an AnTuTu score of 18405. It also reveals tech specs such as a 1.4GHz quad-core Samsung Exynos 3470 processor, 1.5GB RAM, 16GB storage, 8MP rear camera, 2.1MP front camera and a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED display with 720p pixel resolution. The phone is also set to come with a fingerprint scanner, heartrate sensor and 4G LTE. No news yet on Malaysia pricing or release dates though.

Rumours about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 4 phablet have been few and far in between, until now as new rumours have leaked showing off some rather high-end tech specs. Coming courtesy of SamMobile, who have been quite accurate where Samsung stuff are related, the rumours say that the Galaxy Note 4 will come in two versions, one running a Qualcomm snapdragon 805 processor while the other will use a Samsung Exynos 5433 processor. Other notable tech specs include an AMOLED display with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution. No news on what size the display could be but we're guessing around 5.5-inches or so. The Galaxy Note 4 may also have a 16MP rear camera with optical image stabilization and a 2MP front camera. It could also have a UV sensor for better auto-brightness adjustments. No news on Malaysia release dates or pricing but stay tuned and we'll keep you updated.

While they've only just launched the Huawei Ascend P7 in Malaysia yesterday, it seems that the next Huawei smartphone to be revealed could be called the Huawei Honor 6 and be released as early as 24 June 2014. This comes courtesy of invites from Huawei themselves. Unfortunately, there aren't any details yet on what tech specs the Honor 6 could be coming with or why Huawei decided to skip the Huawei Honor 4 and Honor 5. So far, we only have a leaked image to go on which suggests the Huawei Honor 6 could be for the midrange, but do check out the image below for yourself.
