Fresh after its release in China as the Huawei Maimang 6, we've received fresh leaks on the tech specs, price and ambassador of the upcoming Huawei Nova 2i, which we're set to see in Malaysia on 26 September 2017. The price is apparently RM1299 which with the quad-camera tech specs below makes for an awesome value-added smartphone for the entry-level to midrange. In addition, our sources have also confirmed that the ambassador for the Huawei Nova 2i will be Hannah Delisha. Stay tuned to TechNave.com as we'll be there to check it out.

Camera centric site DxOMark have now ranked the Apple iPhone 8 Plus at 94 while the iPhone 8 is 92, knocking down the previously ranked 90 HTC U11. The larger sensor in the iPhone 8 Plus apparently provides better photos for a top Photo score of 96 but perhaps not so much for video at 89. The single camera iPhone 8 performs just as well but isn't as good at zoom and bokeh as the bigger iPhone.

Huawei officially took the wraps off of the Huawei Maimang 6 recently featuring 16MP+2MP dual-rear and 13MP+2MP dual-front cameras for 2399 CNY (~RM1520). Other tech specs include a Kirin 659 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, a 5.9-inch EntireView FHD (2160 x 1080) display with 18:9 aspect ratio and a 3340 mAh battery. It measures in at 156.2 x 75.2 x 7.5mm and 164g with EMUI 5.1 and Android 7.0. Google and HTC officially signed an agreement where certain HTC employees, many of whom are currently working with Google on their Pixel smartphones, will join Google for a $1.1 billion cash investment in HTC. Google will also receive exclusive license for HTC intellectual property while HTC will still be making smartphones and are currently working on their next flagship phone after the HTC U11.
