After its initial launch in China, the Honor 8 has since then been launched in the US and now in Paris for Europe. Featuring the dual rear camera with a colour sensor and monochrome sensor along with a 2.5D glass front and back, the Honor 8 was priced at €399 (RM1814) for the 4GB RAM / 32GB storage version and €499 (RM2269) for the 4GB RAM / 64GB storage version. Both will be available in September for Europe, but with the various launches happening, we can't help but wonder when Malaysia's turn will be.

After it got leaked and seen at TENAA, Xiaomi officially launched their successor to their Redmi Note 3 with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. No Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet but it is going to be available in China from 26 August 2016 from RMB899 (about RM544) for the 16GB storage version and RMB1199 (about RM726) for the 64GB storage version. ZTE's next flagship smartphone is coming to Malaysia with the ZTE AXON 7 on 1 September 2016. The AXON 7 will feature tech specs that include Dolby ATMOS and Dolby Digital dual surround speakers with a 2K AMOLED display, 20MP rear camera with OIS and PDAF. Yes recently announced that they will be offering the Yes Altitude 4G LTE smartphone for RM188 with a monthly commitment fee of RM68 on their Yes 4G LTE 68 postpaid plan under a limited-time "Merdeka & Malaysia Day Promotion". The Yes 4G Altitude phone normally retails for RM399 but to get the RM188 price tag and unlimited VoLTE calls, you will have to sign up for a 12 month contract under the aforementioned plan. Acer Malaysia launched their latest Predator devices with the Predator 17 X gaming laptop and Predator G1 gaming desktop. The Predator 17 X gaming laptop is overclockable, has a 4K display, SoundPound 4.2 subwoofer sound system, RGB backlit and programmable keyboard and more for RM12999.

The Predator G1 gaming desktop on the other hand is one of the first devices to come with the latest NVIDIA GTX1080 Ti graphics card, Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi MB5, sound-reactive Growl Lights and more for RM10999. It will come bundled with an RGB backlit Predator Mechanical Keyboard, gaming mouse and for a lucky 10 buyers they will also get an ultra limited edition G1 Desktop Transport Suitcase.

After their purchase of the company SurfEasy that provides easy-to-use VPN apps, Opera has finally released Opera VPN for Android for free as a standalone app.
