On the last day of 2015, KENXINDA has revealed its latest Flattop W9 smartphone along with a new smart watch called KENXINDA W3. The Flattop W9, designed for heavy duty purpose is also waterproof, dustproof, and shockproof with IP68 rating. Both will be available in early January nationwide and will cost RM2299 and RM169 respectively.

The LEAGOO Alfa 4 is LEAGOO’s entry level smartphone with an extremely affordable price for RM199 only. We’ve read a lot of rumours, some are intriguing and some are too good to be true. Well this one belongs to the too-good-to-be-true category, because according to Chinese website MyDrivers, the upcoming Apple iPhone 7 Plus will have a 256GB worth of storage space and a 3100 mAh battery.
It’s not common to hear smartphone reaching 128GB storage capacity, if not then most of the time the device will be supported by an expandable memory with a microSD card. But who knows, maybe the iPhone 7 Plus could be the breakthrough? And the 3100 mAh battery was reportedly 12.7% larger than the iPhone 6s Plus’s battery, but it seems to contradict other reports of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will be thinner.

With the start of the new year, Samsung rumours just couldn’t keep themselves down. We last reported that there are two Samsung Galaxy S7 variants (according to ETNews Korean publication), but that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore because now there might be four variants - two regular flat screens, and two dual-curve screens that are the Edge series.
As of recent, there was a leaked image (above) of the 5.7-inch Samsung Galaxy S7 from Reddit. It appears that the screen is carrying 1440 x 2560 resolutions, so it might be the Galaxy S7 Edge Plus. Aside from that, the Reddit post also listed down the speculated tech specs:-

The CES 2016 will start in Las Vegas in two days time and according to analyst Pan Jiutang, he speculated that Huawei might reveal the new Huawei P9 packing a 6GB RAM inside.
And just like our previous rumour news of it having two camera lens, Jiutang also expects to see the same thing. Tech specs wise, the P9 might sport an octa-core CPU, Mali-T880 MP4 GPU supporting the Kirin 950 chipset, and a 5.2-inch AMOLED screen with the possibility of a 1440 x 2560 resolution display. A deluxe version could also make an appearance, powered by a Kirin 950 chipset, with a 64GB storage (unknown expandable memory), a 6.2-inch display with a QHD (1440 x 2560) resolution, and running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Samsung Gear VR has finally arrived in Malaysia and it is the latest, improved and more ergonomic version of the Innovator Edition for the S6 which was launched earlier this year. Currently priced at RM459 (with GST), the Gear VR comes in Frost White colour, lightweight, wireless, and is compatible with Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6, S6 Edge and S6 Edge+.
“Samsung has been at the forefront of delivering mobile experiences and the new Gear VR is no exception. We see virtual reality as the next computing platform, and this time we are making immersive VR entertainment more accessible and affordable for customers with the introduction of our improved Gear VR,” said Mr Lee Jui Siang, Vice President, IT & Mobile Business Unit, Samsung Malaysia Electronics.

Tomorrow will be a new year and Lenovo continues to tease us with the Lenovo K4 Note, with the #killernote2016 we have received the third teaser that says “Killer Display”.
In Lenovo India’s Twitter page, it has a short video showing us the K4 Note’s “Killer Display”. It also says “When is a display more than just a sum of its pixels? Get ready to thrill your senses with the K4 Note#KillerNote2016″. In any case, it’s likely that the the device will sport a 2K resolution display.

According to VentureBeat, the upcoming LG G5 will have a dual camera setup with laser autofocus. The dual camera is rumoured to equip a 16MP camera sensor and an 8MP, the second camera addition will boost the photo frame with a wide 135-degree angle.
Besides that, both VentureBeat and an unknown leak from Reddit have the same rumoured tech specs round up:-
- Snapdragon 820 processor
- 3GB RAM
- 32GB storage (expandable memory unknown)
- 5.3-inch screen with 2560 x 1440 resolution
- 16MP and 8MP dual main camera + 8MP front camera
- Heart rate sensor, laser focus sensor, fingerprint sensor, and a pressure sensor

Great news for Yuna fans all around Malaysia, book your date on 2 January 2016 because Celcom Axiata Berhad has invited Malaysia’s sensational singer Yuna, to perform live at the Blue Cube @ Sunway Pyramid. She will be performing three of her favourite songs, followed by a special meet and greet session exclusively for 20 selected FiRST by Celcom customers.
This coincides with Celcom’s success of implementing Yonder Music in their latest FiRST Blue and Gold package, which subscribed users are able to enjoy unlimited digital music service starting from 19 November. Yonder Music app is free but only available for Celcom customers on both Android and iOS devices, its specialty is creating a radio-like experience after tracking the user’s choice of songs.

As 2015 is coming to an end, rumours of the so called Apple “iPhone 6c” and Apple iPhone 7 have not. And we just got some new rumours on what Apple might have in stored for us in the future.
First up, Commercial Times reported that the iPhone 7 could actually be waterproof. They claimed that Apple is working and developing some kind of “new compound materials” that would replace the iPhone 7’s antenna, which also means the possibility of removing the bands from the current iPhone generation’s back. Not only that, the 3.5mm headphone jack could also be replaced by an all-in-one Lightning connector port.
