Being able to receive and display television signals on a mobile phone is by no means a new technology, however, it is probably one of the first times we've seen it being implemented by a branded manufacturer like Samsung. The device with the built-in TV antenna is called the Samsung Galaxy S II TV and while it doesn't have much to do with the Samsung Galaxy S II it does offer some interesting tech specs such as:
- 1GHz dual-core processor
- 4-inch screen (800 x 480)
- 4GB storage + microSD slot
- 5MP rear camera
- 1500 mAh battery
- Android 4.2.2
- Supports Dual-SIM

While the Apple iWatch definitely looks to become a reality soon, there has been little to no news as to how the iWatch may actually look. A concept render by designer Stephen Olmstead shows how Apple could do a stylish yet realistic iWatch without having to make it look like a "rectangular screen bolted onto a watch band" as Olmstead puts it. Going for a simple rounded watch look, the concept uses an e-ink display for longer battery life and postulates that it could be used as a tether or remote camera shutter trigger along with Siri voice commands. It is by no means an official render though, but all in all, the concept looks very achievable yet retains the same look and feel of a stylish leather watch so do check out all the images below for yourself.

With the impending release of the next version of the Samsung Galaxy Note II, the price for the existing version has dropped from RM1999 to RM1799. This has resulted in a price drop for the phablet under telco plans and DiGi's current Samsung Galaxy Note II plans now starts from RM669. You'll need to sign up for the DG SmartPlan 58/88/148 under a 24 month contract but if you're a long-time DiGi Postpaid user (more than 12 months) you don't need to pay the advance payment.

After the recent Ubuntu Edge introduction, all sorts of startups promising super-high-end tech gadgets seem to be coming up and Hyetis is no different. The only difference is that rather than a smartphone, Hyetis are aiming for a smartwatch called the Hyetis Crossbow that will feature a 41MP camera sensor along with a whole bunch of other high-end features. The company has come up with a number of renders for the device and have stated that it will have a zoom lens with a ring flash, noise-cancelling microphone, GPS, Biometric sensors, WiFi, NFC and Bluetooth while supporting Android, iOS and Windows Phone 8 smartphones. While we're thinking an additional fingerprint scanner sounds just a bit far-fetched, such a smartwatch would probably merit the asking price of $1200 (RM3933) which Hyetis wants for it. There aren't any details on how they'd fit in a battery that could support all this and last for a day but if you're interested do check out the Hyetis site.

One would think that after the LTE-A version powered by a Snapdragon 800 processor, there would be enoughSamsung Galaxy S4 versions out there already, but apparently not as another version following the same model number naming convention has been spotted from the GFXBench site. Marked as the I9507 there isn't much information available for it apart from tech specs that state that it uses a Snapdragon 600 chipset with a 1.9GHz processor. It looks to be using the same Adreno 320 GPU as the Samsung Galaxy S4 I9505 but apart from the fact that it is running Android 4.2.2 there isn't any other information. There weren't any details like pricing or availability but it could be either a dual-SIM version of the I9505 or a rebadged I9505 tied to a specific provider. It could also be the still unrevealed Samsung Galaxy S4 Max but we'll find out pretty soon as Samsung usually announces as soon as they can.

According to some tipsters, the Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch is apparently real and coming soon under the model name of SM-V700. The smartwatch will use an OLED flexible display and have two capacitive touch buttons for the menu and the back button along with a physical power button. There may also be a USB port for charging and a standard 3.5mm jack for microphone, speakers or headphones. These same tipseters say that it will likely be revealed at the upcoming Samsung Unpacked 2 event on 4 September right before the IFA 2013 as an additional accessory to the Samsung Galaxy Note III phablet (which sounds quite similar to how Sony revealed their recent SmartWatch 2). No other details just yet, but the tipsters are quite well known for being accurate so we'll just wait and see what happens.

When in doubt, bring back what worked before seems to be the mantra of many tech companies in trouble. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't but BlackBerry seem to be following this path by releasing the "new" BlackBerry 9720 which not only has the same older design but also the same older specs and operating system as well. The tech specs for the BlackBerry 9720 include:
- 800MHz Processor
- 512MB RAM

- 1450 mAh battery

Previously Apple teased 10 September 2013 as the date when they would reveal the next Apple iPhone, which would probably be the Apple iPhone 5S. Many are expecting it to come with the final version of iOS 7 and be announced alongside the low-cost Apple iPhone 5C. However, this may no longer be the case as some anonymous tipsters have suggested that both smartphones may be released on 25 October 2013 instead. While this would definitely involve the Apple iPhone 5S and lower cost Apple iPhone 5C, it could also come with the announcement of the new MacBook Air as well. We're thinking that while the Apple iPhone 5S and 5C may be announced on 10 September 2013, they'll only be released and be available on 25 October 2013 which could be the reason for the different dates. However, we shouldn't have to wait all that long as 10 September 2013 is just around the corner.
